Advanced Technology for the Benefit of Our Patients

Our Technology

Surgically Clean Air
For the safety of our patients and staff, we have installed Surgically Clean Air (SCA) purifiers in all of our patients rooms and the lobby. The purifiers use multi-stage air purifying technologies that clean, purify and re-energize the indoor air. The filtration system captures a variety of pollutants and allergens such as dust particles, pollen, volatile organic chemicals (VOCs), gases, mold, allergens, viruses, odors like formaldehyde and smoke, bio-aerosols, and many other pollutants that can be found in the inside air in workplaces. While it helps create a healthier environment, the purifiers particularly help those with asthma, lung difficulties and allergies.
The negative ion generator makes the indoor feel more pure and clean. It also energizes the air to help combat fatigue. The SCA makes very little noise-about the same as a kitchen dishwasher, and is odor free.
The air purifiers are just another step we have taken to ensure your safety and health while under our care.
Digital X-Rays
Digital x-rays provide us with precise and immediate images, providing the opportunity to communicate clearly with patients about their diagnosis and treatment. It also exposes patients to far less radiation than traditional x-rays.
iCat 3D Imaging
Our state-of-the-art scanner uses cone beam technology to provide us with crystal clear, three-dimensional images. This allows us to more precisely diagnose and treatment plan for all of our patients. From airway evaluation to implant placement, for example, the iCat helps us provide our patients with superior results. Best of all, patients are exposed to far less radiation than they would be with traditional two-dimensional x-rays.
MLS Laser Therapy
The MLS laser allows us to use low level laser therapy on our patients who are in pain. The multiple frequencies of the MLS laser not only reduces pain experienced by our TMJ patients, but it also reduces inflammation and swelling and promotes faster healing in patients who have gone through surgical treatments — all without the use of injections.
Intraoral Cameras
Intraoral cameras allow you to see your teeth the same way we see them. Cracks, decay, broken, or worn areas that patients normally don’t get to see become visible, allowing them to see areas of concern and ask questions when necessary. Digital photos also allow us to monitor subtle changes in your teeth much more precisely.
Tek-Scan Computerized Bite Analysis
Computerized bite analysis utilizing the Tek-Scan system allows us to analyze your bite in increments as small as 1/100 of a second and differentiate load factors that may be imperceptible to the patient but disastrous to the teeth. Understanding exactly where the teeth meet and with what force helps us diagnose a number of conditions, including TMD.
The Operating Microscope
The operating microscope allows us to enlarge what we are looking at up to 16 times its normal size. This allows us to diagnose some problems that may be invisible to the naked eye, such as microscopic cracks and areas of decay, and also allows us to provide the best in minimally invasive dentistry.
Our Ears
One piece of old technology that is often forgotten is our ears. Listening to our patients is a primary concern and one bit of old technology we never want to forget. Combined with the cutting-edge technology mentioned above, we are sure to find a treatment plan that will work for the needs of each individual patient.
